MESSAGE:

There is a popular saying that goes, “The voice of the people is the voice of God” which literally means that the opinion of the majority is right and acceptable. However, this has been proven to be wrong because many times, counsel, opinions and advice stem from sentiments, norms, unbelief et cetera. If you want to fulfil Gods mandate for your life, you must be careful whom you associate with or follow on social media.

There are many people who gave up on their dreams and aspirations; some became impatient and lost their miracle and as a result, they go about struggling and discouraging others. They tell you that God cannot do what He has promised or there is nothing good about the future; from these people, run! Those who paint wrong pictures about God because they failed to wait on Him and ask you to look for alternatives should be avoided. If you continue to mingle with them, their fate will become your reality too.

Examine yourself today, check your circle of friends and mentors. Find out those who are leading you into error and separate yourself from them.

KEY POINT

Follow those who are Heaven-conscious.

HYMN: I Am Thine O Lord

  1. I am Thine, O Lord,
    I have heard Thy voice,
    And it told Thy love to me;
    But I long to rise
    in the arms of faith
    And be closer drawn to Thee.

CHORUS
Draw me nearer,
nearer blessed Lord,
To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer,
nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To Thy precious, bleeding side.

  1. Consecrate me now to
    Thy service, Lord,
    By the pow’r of grace divine;
    Let my soul look up
    with a steadfast hope,
    And my will be lost in Thine.
  2. Oh, the pure delight
    of a single hour
    That before Thy throne I spend,
    When I kneel in prayer,
    and with Thee, my God
    I commune as friend with friend!
  3. There are depths of love
    that I cannot know
    Till I cross the narrow sea;
    There are heights of joy
    that I may not reach
    Till I rest in peace with Thee.
