9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Bible In One Year: Deuteronomy 20-22, Mark 14:26-50

MESSAGE:

The name of Jesus is a stamp that everybody recognizes here on earth, beneath the earth, above the earth, and in Heaven. With that stamp, you can have whatever you want, whenever you want it, provided you use that stamp. The Stamp of God Almighty is that Name Jesus. Wherever you call that Name, the circumstances will know that God Almighty is the one speaking and it has to obey.

It is glorious to be a Christian. Armed with the Name of Jesus, we can surmount any mountain and claim any territory. The power in the Name of Jesus is indescribable and immeasurable. He can kill, He can make alive, but He cannot be killed. He can decree and nobody can change His decree.

The Name is at our disposal without limit, and the power of that Name is endless. Have you been aware of the great power in the Name of Jesus? Have you been using it adequately?

Key Point: The Name of Jesus is an indestructible weapon that is right there in your hands. Use it!

Hymn 8:

1. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.

2. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might;
Thy justice like mountains high soaring above,
Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

3. To all life thou givest, to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish-but nought changeth Thee.

4. Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light,
Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render; o help us to see;
‘Tis only the splendour of light hideth Thee.

5. Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
