Text: 1 John 3:1
God’s love for us is so much that we, most times, cannot comprehend it. Let me explain our much God loves us. God sees and loves us just as Himself. He loves us as He loves Him self. Apostle Paul, writing to the church in Ephesians, says “so ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church.”
God loves Himself so much, and that is how much He loves us. And He wants us to understand this. God will not act inimical to His goals and success, so also He will not act inimical to yours. God will do anything to make sure of His success, so also God will do all he must do to make sure of your success.
Now this love extends to all parts of our relationship with Him. Even when we falter and fall into sin, God’s love becomes more evident. He showed this by paying the price for our own sins. For “greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” God wants us to have an experiential knowledge of His love in every facet of our lives (Ephesians 3:17-19). Enjoy God’s love. He loves you so much.

Dear loving Father, I thank You for Your love for me. Thank You for loving me just like You love Yourself. I am grateful to be a recipient of Your unfeign love and I will not trade it for anything. Thanks for keeping me in Your love, in Jesus name. Amen.
