Topic: Word Made Flesh [15/7/2016]
Text: 1 Peter 1:23

Jesus Christ, before He came into the world, was known as the Word in heaven. John 1:1 says: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Also, 1 John  5:7 says: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” When  he came into the world He was made flesh (Jesus) so He could dwell in a material world like ours to accomplish the mandate of salvation (John 1:14).

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14). Jesus Christ became the bodily expression of the Word. He did not only live as the Word, He was the Word personified. We became the sons of God the Father because we were born of the Word which is God, that is we are born of God (John 1:13). 1 Peter 1:23 confirms this: “being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”

This make us the full and bodily expression of the Word of God. You are God’s Word made flesh. A bodily representation of God’s Word. You are what the Word says you are. Your real description is in the Word. You are full of glory, grace and truth. You live and abides forever. You are victor. A success and a blessing. These are your perfect descriptions, even though your descriptions are not limited to these. But listen, you are the full expression of the Word bodily.
Keep winning daily.

Prayer:
I am the Word made flesh. I am the total and perfect physical expression of what the Word says I am. I am a the wisdom of God showcased to the World. I am full of glory, a victor, a trailblazer, a pacesetter, a standard to the world, in Jesus name. Amen.
